Nathaniel Meets the Family

Nathaniel Sidney Jensen was born on July 16th, 2008 at 7:51 PM. Weighing in at 5 lb 6 oz and measuring 18 inches. Nathan came to us in a bit of scare, as Linda's doctor began to notice that Nathan had not been growing during the last few weeks before the birth. Due to his concerns he referred Linda to a peri-natologist for evaluation. The specialist came to the conclusion that there was some kind of defect with the Placenta, although Nathan seemed to be doing OK (moving, good blood flow, heart rate, etc.), he was measuring about 4 weeks behind schedule. Due to the two doctor's concerns, they reccommended early delivery so that Nathan could get the care and nutrition he needed to continue to grow and develop. On other problem was noted, he was Breech. Therefore, they admitted Linda for a C-section and we were relieved that Nathan was born without complication. The doctor's suspicions were confirmed, as there was a defect in the placenta. Both Nathan and Linda are doing great!

NATHANIEL SIDNEY JENSEN--16 July 2008

5 lbs 6 oz and 18 inches!!!

Baptism of Anna Lynne Jensen--2 August 2008

Anna was baptized today. She looked radiant in her white dress and her smile that went from ear to ear never seemed to go away. When asked right after she baptized if she had a warm feeling she replied "Well, its kind of hard to, because the water was SOOOO cold!!!". I can hardly believe that she is 8. I am so proud of her and the great choices she has made. She is a great example to those around her.

HAWAII 2008

In April, we were able to go on our much anticipated trip to Hawaii. We spent 4 days in Oahu and 5 days Kauai. Posted below are some of the photos from the trip. Some of the highlights were: the many beautiful waterfalls, the Hawaiian temple, and of course, the beautiful, sandy beaches!
